Self doubt is the mighty dragon I battle. Self hate is the fire in the dragon that burns me. The fire inspires the angry rage man in me to take over. Feeding off self hate the angry rage man turns on himself and inflicts more pain than any dragon could imagine. To protect myself from the fire I made a shield of marijuana. The shield goes up in smoke and the angry rage man is sedated. I have enjoyed the fumes so much that my desire to conquer the dragon has been doused. I have accepted the routine of half-hearted battles that last just long enough for me to enjoy the rewards of defeat. After many moons of battling the dragon of self doubt I have learned the only thing that can defeat me is me, thus defeating the dragon. I have been fortunate to be surrounded by people who cared about me when I didn’t and have inspired me with love. These are the people I call family. Through their support and belief in me I found the way to the dragon’s treasure of wisdom. The wisdom I received is that marijuana is my greatest sedation, family is the greatest shield, and love for ALL is the greatest strength.
